How to Replace the Color Ribbon & Photo Paper

Press the cover-opening button to open the ribbon compartment on your HPRT CP2100.
Remove a ribbon box from its packaging and orient it according to the direction shown in the printer diagram. Press firmly at the "Push" position until you hear a click — it's locked in place.
Close the ribbon compartment and you're ready to print.

Important Usage Notes

Photo paper is moisture-sensitive — use as soon as possible after opening the ribbon box.
This printer only supports its dedicated photo paper; the ribbon box has built-in photo paper. Do not attempt to replace the paper inside the ribbon box yourself.
Store away from excessive direct sunlight and extreme cold temperatures to preserve print quality.
If a ribbon box is damaged or deformed by external force, do not insert it into the printer — use a fresh box to avoid jamming.
