Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What paper weight are these watercolor cards, and why does it matter?
A: These cards are made from 300g watercolor paper. The higher the paper weight, the more water the paper can absorb without buckling or warping — making 300g an excellent choice for wet washes, layered techniques, and heavy pigment application in watercolor art.
Q: Are these watercolor paper cards suitable for beginners?
A: Absolutely! The smooth yet absorbent surface makes color blending and smudging easy, which is ideal for artists just getting started with watercolor. The unique stamp and ticket stub shapes also add a fun, low-pressure format for practice and experimentation.
Q: Can these be used for mediums other than watercolor?
A: Yes — while optimized for watercolor, the thick 300g paper holds up well to other water-based mediums such as ink washes, gouache, and light acrylic applications, making these cards versatile for a range of art and craft projects.
Q: How many pieces are included and what sizes are available?
A: Each pack contains 25 pieces of watercolor paper in your choice of six sizes: 5.5×5.5 cm, 5.5×7.3 cm, 10×10 cm, 6×12 cm, 6×18 cm, and 8×15.5 cm — offering flexibility for everything from small details to longer postcard-style compositions.
