Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How quickly does the PVA fishing tape dissolve in water?
A: This PVA tape is designed to dissolve fast upon water contact — typically within seconds to a minute depending on water temperature. Warmer water speeds up dissolution, ensuring your bait is presented naturally right where you need it.
Q: Can this PVA tape be used for boilie stringers?
A: Absolutely. The tape is specifically designed for creating boilie stringers and bundling thread-type baits. Its high tensile strength holds everything securely during casting, then dissolves completely once it hits the water.
Q: Is this PVA tape safe for fish and the aquatic environment?
A: Yes. PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) is a natural, biodegradable material that dissolves harmlessly in water, leaving no chemical residue and posing no risk to fish or the wider aquatic environment — making it a responsible choice for every angler.
Q: What size is the PVA tape roll?
A: Each roll measures 10mm wide by 20 metres long and weighs just 28g, making it compact and easy to carry in any tackle box or bag.
